What's a Hotspot?
A hotspot is a physical location where people can access the Internet, typically using Wi-Fi, via a wireless local area network (WLAN) with a router connected to an Internet service provider. While many public hotspots offer free wireless access on an open network, others require payment.
If you are having difficulty connecting to your WiFi at home, you might want to try to temporarily visit a hotspot outside your home.
Many of the Cable/Internet providers offer hotspots. (You will probably need your UN and PW for your provider to use their hotspot.)
Comcast, Charter, and Altice/Optimum have opened their hotspots for free WiFi for the nation.
Check out these links to give you more information on your Internet/cable provider's hotspots.
