Chromebook - It's Frozen

Why does my chromebook freeze?

When a chromebook freezes it might mean a few different things.

1. Maybe a program that is running is causing a problem.

2. Maybe one of the devices that's plugged in is causing a problem (headphones, USB drive, speakers, or any other external devices).

3. Maybe your Chrome OS needs updating.

4. Maybe there is an internal hardware problem.

What can you do about it?

1. Call up the Task Manager (Search Key + Esc) to see if there is a program that is using too much memory. Click on the program, then click the END PROCESS button

2. Remove all headphones, USB drives, external speakers or any other external devices

3. Make sure you have the latest Chrome OS.

4. Try a hard reboot.(Press and hold Refresh and Power)
